A BRILLIANT Shaun Marsh ton wasn’t sufficient to save lots of Australia from defeat as South Africa wrapped up the three-match ODI collection in Hobart on Sunday.

The Proteas piled on 320 runs because of twin tons to David Miller and Faf du Plessis, because the Aussie bowlers struggled within the final 10 overs of the first innings.

In response Australia lost three wickets cheaply, before Shaun Marsh and Marcus Stoinis rebuilt the innings. Stoinis made his half-century before departing, and Marsh went all the best way to triple figures.

But Australia couldn’t chase down the full regardless of some late fireplace from Glenn Maxwell and Alex Carey.
